Dr. John A. Gable Lecture Series 2012
The Friends of Sagamore Hill will commence the 8th Annual Dr. John A. Gable Lecture Series on Thursday March 29th in Oyster Bay, N.Y. This program is free to the public. Refreshments will be served.
All programs begin at 7:15 pm at Christ Church Parish Hall located at 61 East Main Street, in Oyster Bay Hamlet.
Thursday, March 29: “Theodore Roosevelt: The Intellectual: TR as Writer, contributor, and correspondent" by Lieutenant Colonel Greogory Wynn, Theodore Roosevelt Scholar and Trustee and Executive Committee Member of the Theodore Roosevelt Association.
Thursday, April 12th: "The Progressives and the Constitution" by Associate Professor James Coll, associate professor of American and Constitutional history at Nassau Communicty College and speaker with the NY Council for the Humanitites Speakers Bureau.
Thursday May 24th: "Theodore Roosevelt's Sojourn in the American West" by Mr. Clay Jenkinson, Scholar, Moderator of Theodore Roosevelt Symposium, Director of the Dakota Institute and Chief Consultant for the The Theodore Roosevelt Center at Dickinson State University.
